... before Saturday's GMO NNL! This has been an on & off project for a while now, and this weekend I just decided to get it done this week for the show. Of course, ran out of paint today so I'll need to go to the store tomorrow for more Tamiya Brilliant Blue. A few parts need painting, then some detail work. A few parts will be completely repainted. Then it'll be time for the decals from DklDan & Slippery Arts, as I'm building this like the original MPC release, with one minor change -- I'm using an injector hood from another MPC kit. Alcladed the injector hood and the rear axle & spring (along with the oil pan, which had a really bad sinkhole in the middle of it). The inside of the body is Alclad Stainless Steel, with the floor Alclad Polished Aluminum. Just a few days left to get this done!

Great color combo!!!............You have certainly mastered the alclad colors, they look great!!!..............This was always one kit that when I saw the box art kinda turned me off to it, but after seeing the progress of yours in those colors has changed my mind about this kit...........Really looking forward to seeing it completed!! ;D ;D ;D

I had plans on putting a radiator in this thing, as the real car has one but the kit doesn't ... then again, if I get the rest of the car done in time for the GMO NNL, I can always add the radiator later for other shows.
One could make a trivia contest on this: name the 4 politicians on the wheel covers!
