'Evenin, Gents. Since my last post, I was able to finish off the black paint with a couple of coats of clear. I also shitched out the tank on the bike for something a bit more streamlined than that oversized, lop sided coffin I had on it. It has been raining here all day so I thinought I'd take the leap and do some decaling. I started off with a gold badge, laid a white stripe across the middle then topped it off with the clear, black and blue overlay. I have also glued in the engine. Please excuse my terrible Alcad job. I can get that stuff to work about one out of ten times. Any suggestions?

I am airbrushing a coat of gloss black then applying the Alcad after it dries in mist coats at as low a pressure as I can. Should I be letting them dry more between coats? I try to keep the silver mixed up as I go. In the picture the bile is painted with silver so the Alcad is on the motor and the mags. It looks ok but it sure ain't chromey.
