l stepped on my modeling glasses to day
as l was just putting the finishing touches on this altered wheelbase so l will have to wait till next week before l can do do any modeling
so here is what l have done so far

l have gutted the the grille and headlights
l wanted the front higher so l mad some new shackles and
have added a aluminum straight axle and a new tie rod
and some scratch built some new shocks also l have
made a new tank from a airplane fuel tank and a scratch built
mount for the tank also scratch built a teardrop scoop for the hood

as for the motor l have added fuel lines and leads
and also scratch built a manifold and made some injectors from aluminum and added a scratch built bell crank and trottle cable

That looks great Joe! I was going through my stash of kits yesterday and I have that kit too. I like your mods and may try a few ideas of my own with mine. Thanks for sharing, and good luck getting your glasses fixed. I have a hard time seeing upclose without my 2X magnifiying glasses.
