I'm looking thru old builds to help keep myself geared up and thought I'd share this kitbash with you. I started by assembling the Roth Outlaw kit. Man some of that old Revell stuff is hard to build! I did find some really cool old slicks and mags for it in my parts box. I shortened the Ala Kart truck bed about a half an inch. Here's the chassis after assembly. Did I complain earlier??? hehe Man this stuff looks great if you just be patient. This front suspension justa bout gave me a nervous breakdown tho! Here's how I attached the truck bed to the body using plastic dowel rod and holes. I jazzed up the tail lights by using gem beads from the craft store. Here's the whacky grille I made for it from that old 22 kit

Hey Sooper, Sweet little ride you got there, I have a kit-bash started using Roths Beatnik Bandit and AMTs 29 bucket. I like the little "surprises" you throw in the build, such as the craft beads, slick dude, real slick. Are those Race Master slicks on the back of that? What kit did you get them from? A set of those would look sweet on my build as well. How is the dual engine '40 going?
