Well, I like it! Maybe You should try to blend the body/pickup-bed together to get a "smoother look"

That's just mind boggling.... I am still curious how you make those bends in plastic. With steel one uses and English wheel, roller, or a metal brake. How do you do that with plastic?

Now! I think I see what road you are heading down. A couple of big axles and tires out back, hmmm? Lil' Gasser style?

Thank you! ;D That's just mind boggling.... I am still curious how you make those bends in plastic. With steel one uses and English wheel, roller, or a metal brake. How do you do that with plastic? DJ: This is a cold deformation. With Polystirol- plates does it well. I have a couple of rods in various diameters. I turn (or roll) the plate over these rods. I begin with a thick one. Then use a thinner, until the desired result (bending), is reached. Understood?

I follow now Bobby. It's much like working with steel then. Thanks!

Wow. What imagination, nice to see how it progresses. Take a kit, cut it into a jigsaw puzzle, change it, stick it together differently. add plastic, putty and a lot of sandpaper... and see the result as it is assembled. Mindblowing... Where is the gearbox/drive shaft going to go??.

Mindblowing... Where is the gearbox/drive shaft going to go??. I'm guessing, but probably will pass between the seats, leading from the transmission tailshaft to the forwardmost rear tandem axle. Sorry - had to be a wiseacre.

That thing has turned out incredibubble. Looks eXXXXaccatickley like a showrod right out of the early 70's. You nailed it H.B. This is a must have in the Gallery!

Thank you very much!(I know, it's been a long time since ... ) This project has long waited until I knew the next step. But now I know it again and it goes on! Green lines are cut lines I use the original interior of the Piewagon. Never throw away a part, you can still use it somewhere... Since it is too wide, it will be reduced. So I get also the door in the middle. Certain adjustments of the rod (door hinge) and the bottom plate also followed. New sidewalls bonding. Everything is filled and then the edges rounded off. And it fits! I hope you like it so far...
