Thank you! That is the rightly carved host for the pie rack. I adapted it to the new "house". And glued it in the body. An assembly if everything fits I decided only to a single rear axle, but with larger wheels. These are the new, homemade wheels: A compilation: Hope, you like it.

More great stuff Bobby!!! The new rear wheels will look great on it too. Maybe the rear axle from a Lil Gasser, or even one from an old glue bomb semi truck will work to give it that Show Rod feel. ( like it doesn't already have it!!!) Keep at 'em buddy!!

Thank you! Primed and sanded, everything is still in rough condition... A first location determination. I am still not sure how the tail should look like. Hence is under the door, still a hole...

Hey Bobby,
That is looking pretty good! Have you ever though of using these as prototype to show Tom Daniel, or John for possible production of these?

Thank you very much! More progress on this one: First, I carved a plate to fill the hole. Then I carved from another plate, this here: The slits are taillights, and the recess is for the number plate. I stuck it on the first one and filled it with putty: Well, I still do not know if I like it ... Let's see how it looks after the sandjob... What do you mean?

Bobby,
I'm not exactly sure where this will go BUT THANK YOU for sharing these photos with us... I MUST give you props for your tenacity, looks this design was forged out of necessity. STILL it's an original design & I salute that.
Just goes to prove that customizing IS NOT for the weak of heart ! Please keep going...!

Thank you! I thought, I will never be finished with this body. First, I redesigned the rear side view. Now, everything is flowing a little better... But then ... You can not imagine how many times I've filled and sanded, over and over again. There have been repeated small holes, it was like bewitches. A heath work, and somehow we see nothing new. I turned in a circle. But finally I can present you the result, here is the body, hope, you like it so far: Ok. Too soon happy now... A few notches must be drilled into it for the drive shaft and the rear suspension and the front axle... Yes, there is still much to be done...

That has sort of an evil look to it. Could be the hard lines. Soooo many options with this one. Got more wine?

Not much "Pie" left there... But, from those humble leftovers you've cooked up something new and quite delicous! I gotta say though, I liked the tandom axels myself... Might we see it with them once again?

Bobby,
Take a look at the side profile photo, (3rd one down) see how your "C'" is not symetrical..? That needs to be fixed before paint, I'd recomend bending some 1/8th in. masking tape wrapped around the "C" on each side. the tape will not bend fast enough & will show you your high & low spots.
Simply take a dremell or half round file & knock down your highs & or use plastic strips to fill in your lows..! Some projects are like pulling teeth & this must be one of them..! Good luck..........!Hizoot
