Hi! Wondering if anyone knew if there was an identical rear axle used on another kit which matches the Taxi's? I've got a kit to restore, but am missing that piece. Barring that, anyone have one they would be willing to part w/?  |

Going through one of my junk boxes, I've found the rear axle for the TT ... I've got the axle and the rear spring parts, not sure about the front of the axle where the driveshaft goes to, but I might still be able to find that piece.

GB - I do have the front drive shaft part! Will wonders never cease....
After reading the new post, I can assure you I'm not one of those that will get the part in only to turn around and sell the kit on eBay. The Taxi has been a grail of mine for quite a while now, and the other missing parts I will just scratch build.

Hey Rick, no worries about the part! I'm not concerned about that.
I'm glad you found the driveshaft ... when I looked again at a buildup of the TT I have, it looks the driveshaft & front of rear axle are all one part.
What else is missing from your TT?

GB - Your reply made me go back and take another look at what I had. I do have the driveshaft w/ front part, and they are indeed attached to each other...not only that, but DOH!!  I found the damn rear axle stuck under the bottom box flaps!! My TT was glue bomb I got off eBay, and it didn't have its original box. There were parts everywhere inside the box it came in. What a maroon....sorry for the confusion. After taking a careful look through what I have, I KNOW I'm missing the front tie rod (part #39) and the two rear shocks (part#47...they look like Vs).
