does anyone know of any other kits that have piecrust white wall slicks (other than the lil coffin)?? i'd like to find some, that have the plastic whitewall inserts. i think the hurst hairy olds kit has tires similar to the lil coffin, and i think they do have an insert that can be replaced with a white plastic ring (to make whitewalls). i'm not sure of this tho...could someone check a h/h/olds and let me know if i am correct ?? i need to find 2 piecrust whitewall slicks for something i'm working on. thanks very much. mr boney fingers.

I thought the Boot Hill Express had similar tires, but you would have to paint the inserts white (just use white primer).

Mark: you are right, the Boothill Express does have those slicks, it is the same slicks as the L'il Coffin car, only difference is the plastic insert. the only place I know that has the pie crust white walls is the modelhaus, Don was selling them two years ago, there is a lot of the older revell kits with the piecrusts, none of them were white wall, most of the people used the cheesey stickers that came with the kits or painted them on, I have about 3 sets?, none of them white walls though, www.modelhaus.com/take care George

Thanks Charlie for the info and the pic Mr. Boney Fingers, I have a Hurst Hairy olds kit, they have the slicks Boot Hill Express and Lil coffin uses, but they are reversed, the wheel backs are plastic hubs that are fitted to use the rims from the kit, so it would not be a good choice. so you have the lil coffin, the bad part is those kits aren't cheap, they are selling for $15 and up, usually $25 - $30 lately. I would buy a set from the modelhaus if I were you, they also sell rims and such, Don Holthaus is a great guy to deal with, some of his stuff is pricey, but he always comes through take care George
