Hey all, I know this is a chance in hell, but here goes.
I recently bought 3 kits of a guy at work. 2 of the kits are complete. One is missing 1 part. It's the Revell Jungle Jim 1/16th Vega funny car.
The part that is missing is #5, the Intake manifold. Without it, I don't think I can even do the engine.
If anyone has one, or has a tip on how to deal with this.. I am all ears. If not.. the kit was partially built.. and is a mess..lol (he painted the body after he put in the windows, they are now green too! Oh, and he used a Hot glue gun to put some pieces on!!) So if i don't have the part I don't have to stress on fixing this mess. But I would love the challenge.....
Thanks all.. -Bruce

Hi Bruce Try Competition Resin, as they do resin pieces for 1/16th scale ... if you don't see it, you can write to them and ask if they have that part. Here's the link to their site: www.compresins.com/Plus you might find other parts or get inspired for future projects as well! hope this helps! mark

Hey,
If that Vega has the same engine as the 1/16 Grand Am funnycar then I may have a spare manifold for you. I have a few of those Grand Am's laying around.
Let me know and I'll get it out to you. Ron

It's the same. I think the basics on all of the 1/16 Revell F/C kits are the same.

You know what's funny? Only a few hours ago (before I read your post), I remembered that my friend had given me a built up 1/16 Snowman Vega. I dug around the basement and actually found it just today. I can't part it out but you've got to admit that's a real coincidence.
