The only '30-31 pick-up kit I know of is the resin kit R&D Unique did several years ago. They did a complete kit (less engine) that had a resin body, and white metal chassis & steelie wheels. I have one, but I'm not ready to part with it quite yet (along with the fact that I wouldn't even know where it is at in storage) I did look at their website, and don't see it there anymore. I think it was made as a GSL exclusive, but not sure.

Revell made a '28 Truck kit in 1965 .. same cab pretty much from 28-31 .. The 1st transition came in '32 ... ;D

No, actually Chuck, the '28-'29 pickups were way different from the '30-'31 model year pickup's. The '30, 31 cabs were pretty much the same, and the '32-33-34 were a little straighter in the rear of the cab like the AMT/Lindberg '34 cabs.1928.....1929.....1930.....1931.....1932.....1933.....

Lindberg did a '32 Closed cab P/U in 1/25 scale. I have an old glu-bomb, but you should be able to find one at that auction site.
Hope that helps.

I have the Revell 29, I think the 30 was made by MPC, the revell can be made into a 30 with parts from the 30 woody or the 30 sedan

The biggest difference between the '30 and '31 cab is in the cab back wall. The '30's back wall is straight up and down where the rear wall on the '31 has a slight curve to it. There has never been a 1/25 '31 pickup but one can be easily kitbashed using the sedan body and the bed from Revell's '29. There was an article in SAE 20+ years ago on the conversion, I'll dig it out and get it to you.

Ken, I know that I've bought several of the sedan kits, I don't remember if any of them are unchopped. I'll check the stash when I get home this evening and let you know. The SAE article covers the kitbash using the Sedan Delivery body but there's no reason that the sedan body wouldn't work as well. Dave

Ken, I did manage to find 1 kit that didn't have the roof lowered, you're welcome to it if you want. Didn't find the SAE with the article about the kitbash, think it's in the garage (that's a scary place), I'll check over the weekend. Dave
