I am looking to trade for some old broken model kits . The ones I am looking for is the Rommel's rod, the double bathtub, the bed buggy and Tijuana taxi I have pictures of the ones I am willing to trade the are still sealed one box is open but everything is there and still sealed in the box you can e-mail me for pictures at wenhen139@aol.com do not know how to put pictures on site yet.

All I can say is good luck with the Bed Buggy ;D I have one but it took me over two years to find it in a price i could afford and even then it was missing the exhaust pipes.

I am new here I know lots of these kits are hard to find but if anyone could at least help me find the Rommel's rod, Tijuana taxi, and the little romans chariot I be happy to let someone have all the kits listed accept the 32 Chevy panel truck. so check out my site listed above to see what I have. i meant no disrespect modelnut...just ribbing you a little bit...all in fun.
don't know if you knew or not, but the rommels rod is being reissued, but it will be an all new kit...not made from the original molds. the t.j. taxi is pretty difficult to find, but your best source for any of these kits is e-bay. all i can say is that you will have to have deep pockets if you want to buy these kits. as far as trading...i'm not sure that anyone here would let theirs go. i know if i had the kits you are after, i wouldn't let them go.

I am not looking for new kits or whole kits just kits that are broken up or pieces missing not so bad that they can not be restored or glued bombed as long as I can restore them I would be happy.

Like Rob, I mean no disrespect, but even a gluebomb taxi ,Rommel or the bathtub can go for some big bucks. I've seen some real junks sell on ebay for more than $35.00 ,and they're not even complete . Someone here may have one to trade, but be prepared to spend some cash , unless you have something to trade thats equally rare. Now, if you get one, I'm sure the guys here can help you out with the odd part to help you finish it - just be patient, and keep searching. Sometimes you can find one thats not listed right or hidden in a box lot on ebay that ends up selling cheap.

No disrespect taken I know its going be a hard search but I am willing to wait and I know they are rear and hard to find but I would never deal with e-bay I have had my identity stolen off of e-bay and paypal and its one thing I would never ever do again. Thank you

I could have obtained several vintage kits at the last one I was at, but none were what you mentioned. A guy did have the "Bathtub Buggy" for $75.00,sealed.I told him sorry, but there is not a doghouse big enough for me to fit in around here (if I had bought it)!!!!

The last hobby show I went to was when I was in Binghamton NY. I have not seen none here in Tampa this last year all we seen so far here is train shows and I do not care for those. I use to have a website for all the hobby shows but can not find it anymore since my kids got on the computer. so sorry about taking so long getting back with you. Jimmy

My ebay id got stolen about a year ago. One day I tried to sign on, and it kept saying I had the wrong password . I had to go online and wait for a live ebay rep to IM me .It turns out that someone had hacked into my ebay that day, and started selling digital cameras. Ebay somehow noticed this and put a hold on my account, so no one could get get into it. They ended up clearing the sales, and gave me a new password. Oddly enough, someone got my credit card # the same week and was buying stuff in California .I still have dial up, so everyone says its impossible for someone to hack into my computer. Ebay swears that no one could get card#s from them, but I still wonder about that.
