Nice build Kim. There was talk a few years ago that the Snake & Mongoose F/E rails were to be reissued. Hasn't happened yet though.

Kim, Did you have decals with the kit or did you have to buy aftermarket? I'm just wondering as I have a Snake about ready for decals but don't really have any for it.

Well A.J, it was an original mint in box kit, even sealed, so it is the original decals. I got it from one of the former members in our modelclub.

That one brings back memories for me as well ... glad to see it again and done so well! I was able to get the Snake/Mongoose funny car reissue at a decent price off eBay, and its been fun putting those together again (forgot about the tinted windshields the originals came with ... I was just happy to have the cars back!). Might have to check out the resin body for this one ...

This guy is a flaming a-hole to deal with. Expect a long wait when ordering. and I mean 2 - 3 MONTHS wait. He's so not worth the time or effort.

Paul, Yeah if your talking about Don at Reliable Resins, his stuff is CRAP!!!!! Myself and another popular ebayer, got a few things over the past two years and it is ALL JUNK!!!! I wouldn't waste my time with him.Besides if he EVER does send it and you contact him about the stuff, he REFUSES to ADMIT it is anything with his castings,I have heard it was the heat from the traveling?? Heat from the psot office trucks,I have heard them all from him,so if ya wanna save your self some headaches ,AVOID HIM unless you wanna have some problems for awhile........my two cents........Chief

Glad I read this before I spent any money down the road ... what a shame, as we'll probably just get 129 more donkmobiles before Revell lets this one loose again.
