Hi guys I´ve been away for a while, but now I´m back on the track... Kim from Denmark, that is... I like to show you my latest lil´creation, a rod done in basic style. Its a 30 roadster with a modified A la Cart top... Heavily modified frame, with suicide front end The engine is from the parts box, stacks from the 55 Chevy Nomad At the time of the photo shoot, some details were still not in place, but I thought I´d show it anyway....

That is awesome Kim! Glad to see you are back as well. I've got one on my bench that is similar but a little more out of the ordinary. I'll be showing some pics hopefully later this week. I have to get a couple more little items done and then maybe. In any case, I love the build, hope to see more soon from ya. ;D

Very nice!!! Reminds me of some of the rods I've seen at the Back to the 50s car show here in St Paul ... one of these days I'll have to get those pics uploaded to my Fotki account (I have over 600 photos from two years of that show ... yikes!!)

Another fine example of Kim's hotrod building. He has done a crapload of REALLY nice rods in the last few years, as well as showrods! Good to have you back with us once again Kim!

Well guys, thanks for all the kind words. Tim, thanks a lot for those very nice comments, I´m sure I dont deserve them. You make my ears blush, man... ;D
Whitewall:
About the paint. I used Motip gloss red, covered with their flat clear. Both spraybombs. Its an automotive paint, and I dont know in which other countries its available, if any. The good thing about this paint is that they cover, I think all moderne car colours, it covers really good, and its very fast drying. The downside is that it is quite expensive, and very difficult to remove if you mess up...
