Thought I´d show you this one, probably the most radical custom I´ve built until now. The roof is chopped, shortened and moved forward to the original front window position. That resulted in a big hole in the rear deck, which has been filled. The rear end and the front end are customized. The interior contains front seats from the Bad Actor, and the rear seat is replaced with a padded bathtub from the "Bathtub" show rod. The bathtub have a tv and telephone. The chain steering wheel is made from real silverchain, glued together with superglue. `59 Cadillac rear lights on the front hubcaps, and the bubbleskirts are made from the pen holder from an AMT Prestige series kit. The paint is Marabou metallic green... Rear lights are six ´59 Cadillac lights. I accidently bumped the door when taking these pics, so the door is "hanging loose"... Here its easy to see the new lower and shortened roofline The scratchbuild steering wheel, made of real silver chain Close up of front wheel with ´59 Cadillac rear light domes in the center Here´s the famous bath tub TV, telephone, and some interesting magazines... Dont know what tv program that is...

Thanks for the nice comments...
The paint is a spraybomb I found at a closing sale years ago. The brand is called Marabou, and the color is metallic green. I have never since seen any paint of that brand, anywhere. I also got a cool pink flake color of the same brand...

Well, I´ll take som shots and post them. The idea of using the bathtub instead of a rear seat... I really dont know where it came from. I had that bathtub lying around, it was part of a parts box I got from a friend. When I started this model, I had a friend from our model club visiting. We sat at the table, building, and the ideas just fly back and forth... Suddenly it was born... Rip out the rear seat, put in the tub, put in a tv, telephone and some magazines, and thats it... I´ll take some pics...
