Well, here I am again.... Thought I´d show you some pics I found on my computer yesterday.... Some of my hot rod models.... The first one is Monograms ´30 coupe, the green one with the original only option. I chopped and sectioned the body, and scratchbuilt the frame. Front suspension from AMTs ´34 five window. Wheel and tires are from the Aluma coupe (I think ), and the Hemi came from the parts box. The next one is Revells three window. I replaced the mill with a Corvette Z1 engine, and the wheels and tires are from the Prowler. Otherwise its box stock. The last one is AMTs five window. I always liked the five window better than the three window. Its allmost box stock, exceot from the rear tires, which are cheater slicks, taken from a MPC van. Oh yeah, I replaced the firewall also...

Nice!!! I especially like the third one ... reminds me very much of a rod I saw here at a car show a couple of years back.

I love that first one Kim although I have to be honest, I'm not for the wheels on it. But that's just in the spirit of recent topics. However, they do look good on it, I just don't care for them personally. It's almost exactly how I'm going to build my 1:1 A 5-window this year. I want almost that same stance but it will be built in a traditional manner. Not a rat rod, traditional. Paint and all. It'll be sportin' a 331 Hemi as well.

Nice builds all the way around, your work is always nice Kim and always good to see a refresher of the kits we seen at the old coffin corner.

I think I have around 30-35 built models, but then again, some of them I´m not satisfied with anymore, and want to renovate... But I dont have time for that, I have 10-12 projects going on, 6-8 old built ups that also need renovating, and around 450 unbuilt kits, so I´m in a hurry.... ;D

I scratchbuilt it. Plain Evergreen plastic sheet, with aftermarket checkered decals...
Thanks for all the nice comments guys ;D

As a hotrod guy, I've always liked Kims rod builds. Clean, to the point, and very lifelike!
