I found one of my old matchbox die-casts last weekend and thought it could do with a face lift. It had lost one front tyre and I couldn't find a suitable replacement, but yesterday I found a hotwheels cartoon Chrysler 300c which had wheels that where the perfect size. I replace the cracked windscreen with sheet styrene then painted all the windows black (the inside was filthy and really poor on detail) then detailed the chrome trim bits and the grill.
P.s. I didn't give it a new coat of paint because apart from underneath the front bumper and on the right hand side(small scratches) the paint was virtually imaculate. Thank goodness for my crummy camera which doesn't show bits like that
