So the ole-lady's a MASSIVE fan of the pixies, and wanted to see a car inspired from it. taking a couple hint's of the 50's, and an early 90's twist... I started by bastardising a 57 Chrysler, to the point that Mr. Exner would wanna punch me in the head. followed through with a "Trompe le monde" inspired custom. right down to an open trunk fulla over sized cows eyeballs in thick white paste...The colours, and the "Graphics / Trim" are modified from the Pixies Flying P logo... and a tonne of freakin BMF... more than I've ever used on any one Kit, and ever should! I think it came out pretty spot on! all that's missing is the Convertable cover... I'm not too sure if it shoudl have a canvas snap on style, or an older Hard shell cover???
