That looks really nice Fred! Good going on that and a definitely cool new twist to it! I like the color as well. Those Tamiya paints seem to be pretty nice from what I can tell from your builds!

Fred, Nice take on a classic kit. Love the color scheme. How do you like using Futura wax instead of clear from a can or airbrush? I hear Futura is easy to lay down and dries flat and smooth but cant use a polish kit on it later?

Hi Nitroc--the jury is still out on the Future Floor Finish. I love it on the clear kit glass as I just dunk the whole piece in the Future and let it drip dry after wicking off any excess with a paper towel. It definitely makes the glass clear and easy to see through. It is also great on small parts.
As far the the body goes, I have only brushed it on with a very large soft bristle artist brush and the finish is very nice, although I wouldn't classify it as show quality. I still want to run it through an airbrush as I think the Future finish would be much better. I will have to wait until the weather warms up here. Also I do not think you can do anything to the Future Finish--not polishing it out.....................Fred
