i have picked up two more of the kits since I got this one but cannt bring myself to even think about building them Just curious -- why not? Just need time away from this car for a while, or that much of a headache to build? (I've never built one)

It took me about two years to finally find a Mail Truck that I could afford to build and then all of a sudden, they were popping up on E-bay left and right fairly cheap. I am sure the price is going to go back up and George Barris is not getting any younger if you know what i mean. Plus I plan on getting the better of the other two signed at the show I am doing with him at Volo. The truck itself is a pretty simple build but the old MPC instructions have something to be desired. The fit of the body isnt perferct (gaps around the rear fenders/body) Luckly the unicycle and sled was still with the kit and those are really hard to find. It's just nice to have the two together to go wth the other Barris vehicles I have. I have forgotten to mention that I won the Ala-Kart award for my display at the Good-Guys Great Lakes Nationals two years ago. That was pretty special since it was the first year for it. Thanks to everyone for your comments
