i forgot who i got this from, but it was about 95% complete. it was missing one rear rim, the base and the blower scoop. aj gave me a rim, and the base. for the scoop, i found one in my parts box that worked out good. it looks like it may be from the revell parts pack pontiac engine...not sure, but it fits good. all i did was clear coat the orange plastic, and the rims. i painted the blower and the scoop silver (because the scoop had been painted green) and i did some minor detail painting. now i have this, the boss bulldozer, and the screamin' skipshovel...all i need is the extreme shovel to complete the set.

actually, the only parts that i needed to glue, were all 4 rear wheels, and the blower scoop. there aren't too many peices to this, so that makes it about 50% glued....lol

I was lucky about 2 years ago at an indoor flea market and picked up the set of 4 . They were all complete and all put together with no glue. I think I paid $25 for the set. It was the only good thing I picked up the entire trip . Russell

Very nice is that a td kit or not? yes, it is a t.d. kit. there were 4 hot rodded construction caracature models that t.d. designed. this one, one called the screamin skip shovel, one called the boss bulldozer, and one called the extreme shovel. they are small, and all snap together, but they sure are fun. i built the bulldozer and the skipshovel not too long ago, and i added fuel lines and spark plug wires to them...they have a little more engine detail that this truck does tho. all i need now is the extreme shovel, and i'll have the whole set of 4.
