when NOTHING clicks. I posted a while back a project i was doing based on the hw mutt mobile. got back to it last night. got it in primer then realized finish coat will be duplicolor HAD USED ENAMEL PRIMER OPPPPS in my haste to get it to the purple pond it fell bars broke free both front and back and front clip cracked AGAIN oh well mother told me there would be dayz like this LOL rob BY THE WAY CSC IS THE BEST

i know what you mean, i've got a 71 pontiac ventura thats been in the strip tank three times now due to dust, and paint runs. if it wasn't such a hard to get kit it would have been thrown in the junk box by now

Doing a fast build of the Zzzzzzz-28 ... filled in the seams where the front end gets glued to the body ... putty seemed to be really smooth ... primered the thing, didn't see anything wrong ... spray on the coats of Testors Hugger Orange ... and then I see the spot where something wasn't smoothed down all the way. @$^#%^ Before that, when I was working on the body for the Shaker Trike, it slipped out of my hands, fell and landed on one of the fins which somehow managed to snap off! AFTER it had been all painted (but before the airbrush treatment, thank god). Hhhmmm ... so the worst problems are when its body painting time!  Where are those prepainted kits when you need 'em? |
