These kits are so kool! What a great job finishing them too Michael! Can you tell me what "action" each one has? I'd like to see these get reissued! Keep up the great work!

Man, if someone ever does buy AMT, I hope they've got really deep pockets so they can license out these kits again (that is, if the MPC molds still exist). The weathering on them is just great ... does he have the vacuum-formed pirate plaque as well to hang up on the wall in the back? One of the kits came with pirate gold pieces too.

starting with the two bottom pictures going left to right, 1) "Freed in the nick of time" this one has double action--the one swings his sword down hitting the chain of the other pirate allowing him to spring back.
2) "Dead man's raft" you lift the lid of the crate and and the skeleton springs up and his arm swings down with a knife onto the treasure map.
3) "Condemned to chains" the skeleton swings his sword down onto the crocs nose.
4) "Ghost of the treasure gaurd" double action-both pirates arms swing down with a sword
5) "Hoist High the Joll Roger" the pirate swings his arm down with a sword.
I do have the coins/plaques that come with each kit--iI just leave them inside the boxes.
Thanks--Michael

Michael.. What a Great collection of rare kits. The best part is that they're built! And Built by a young man that earned the money to make this collection his own.. Great to see your dad pass this Hobby on to you and you'll pass it on too someday.. But will you do like dad and sell your builds on eBay too?
BiLL..

Hi Bill!! Thank for the compliments!! actually I sorta do now. I have been buying pirate (disney) models for awhile on ebay. some are missing pieces, built ups that I take apart and rebuild and paint and get them working if I can. I then have my dad list them on ebay for me. the money I earn allows me to prychase better unbuilt disney kits. I only need two more to complete the set.
I will probably hold on to the built, working complete series but will at sometime probably sell it as the whole set. I will be driving in alittle over a year and could use the money towards a car or for college. Thanks........Michael
