Very cool Bobby, I really like your wheel treatment and detail on those front wheel spokes. Also you obviously have a source for or perhaps fabricate those huge back wheels and tires, they are awesome! Just a great concept all around.

Thank you very much! Any questions? I hope you like it so far... Man Bobby in my comment about the contest I even forgot about this one and it's one that I really like! This shot is just killer of it! If I were to make one suggestion, I'd say that it might look cooler if the blower scoop was turned forward in this application. It sticks up over the roof and it looks like the lines would flow even better. I like it either way, this is such a cool build! Don't forget about the guns though! This build looks like it's begging for some Red Baron guns or something. Very cool! You are right, AJ! But a correction of the air intake, was planned from the beginning. ;D This engine is not for this project. It is used only for Parameters and belongs here: But this is a completely different project! Even a Groovy Gradder motor, but one like this: I thought about the machine-gun idea. Somehow, I find it great. ;D ;D ;D I designed this quickly in my lunch break, so please do not grumble about the quality!Lol! ;D ;D ;D As I said, this is just a draft! And? What do you think? Should I pursue this direction? The Red Baron theme?

Like the Red Baron. . .
What about controls? Steering wheels, shifters, gun controls. . .
I like the gun idea. . . but what about the nose of the vehicle?
Some wild ideas. . .
BUT YOU NEED TO FINISH ONE! ! ! ! ! ! hehehehe
Or send them to me to finish! I could do the same quality as you. . .but . . . I would give it a try!

That looks outstanding Bobby! I really like the Red Baron theme. The guns sticking out the front are killer too. Looks like they belong there. I'm really liking the Groovy Grader engine in it as well. It really fills out the rear end. As for controls, maybe a control like the biplanes would have had coming up through the seat area somewhere.
That is going to be a really sweet Build! Keep on rollin'!

How about gun and steering controls mounted on armrests projecting forward along the sides of the passenger area?

Thank you very much! So in a hurry, some details are lost. (Such as the steering) But I said already that this is only a draft! Continue. First, I sprayed a mixed red, but after that I liked it no longer. I tried a different mix on the engine block and was satisfied with the result. Here you can see the twisted air intake. Instead to pretend the openings of the exhaust ends only with black paint, I prefer to open it. First, i carefully drill holes : Then I cave the rest with a scalpel: The result: That was the color before: And this is the new color mix on the body: I hope, you like it! ;D

Man Bobby, this one is coming along really well. As for the steering you should do something like a joy stick operation. Something like what they use in a fighter jet. That would look pretty cool coming up through the seat. I can't wait to see the body when you detail the seat and stuff. A satin black with some gray accents in the pleats would really make it pop!
And I really love what you did with the pipes! The way you drilled and hollowed out the ends really makes that look great. Very nice work!

Thank you! It goes in the direction of the Red Baron theme. I do not have found suitable machine guns. Therefore, again, a self-brand. ;D ;D ;D I thought, the same machine guns as in the A-10 Tunderbolt-plane would be cool, so the design. OK, these are huge in size, I think they've got first the machine gun and then built the plane around it... ;D I have no standards pursued, no scale, so everything is somehow. ;D For a machine gun I need a piece of aluminum rod and my thin stainless steel tube: First a hole in the middle. Then the six holes around. Then separate the two discs, on the lathe. Finally, a broad stabbed. Trimming of the six tubes. A compilation: In the middle is a stainless steel rod inside. Here are a size comparison with my hand. I hope you like it! ;D

Thank`s! Finally, I have done this body, had troubles with the Maltese crosses and the varnish... But I think it does not look bad now... ;D The color reflects very much. ;D Unfortunately you can not see this so well on the pictures... Hope, you like it so far... PS: I also think, that its finally time, to change the name of this thing...

Thank you very much! The new name: Freiherr (literally "Free Lord") is not a given name but a German aristocratic title, equivalent to a baron in other countries and the origin of Richthofen's most famous nickname: "The Red Baron". The German translation of Red Baron is "der Rote Baron". Richthofen is today known under this nickname even in Germany, although during his lifetime he was more often described in German as "Der Rote Kampfflieger", (variously translated as the "The Red Battle Flyer" or "The Red Fighter Pilot"). This name was used as the title of Richthofen's 1917 "autobiography." Richthofen's other nicknames include "Le Diable Rouge" ("Red Devil") or "Le Petit Rouge" ("Little Red") in French, and the "Red Knight" in English. I think, "Le Diable Rouge" ("The Red Devil") fits here for this build best. Continue: If the exhausts are on the engine mounted, they are too steep to forward. To change this, I cut them separately from the carrier bar. All ends are now cylindrical rounded. I made two new carriers plates from PS. The new entity. Now I can freely adjust the angle. The engine compartment is now black. (Too much red... : I highlighted the driver's seat, with a little "FMT" (the Grandmaster, Fred Mellini Technology, or Drybrushing...). Hope, you like it so far...
