Can anyone machine a small part for me in aluminum? It is a little more than one inch (1") in length. Not one model car manufacturer (or after-marketer) makes an ACCURATE 1/25-scale Mickey Thompson (M/T) big-block Chevy valve cover. Most of the Western N.Y. Modfieds (these are the cars I model, similar to the MPC mid-'70s Modified kits) in the late-'60s to mid-'70s used these. All I would need is a rectangular block of aluminum cut (I will give you/them the dimensions, based on a real M/T valve cover I have, then reduced to 1/25 scale) with the 13 fins in the top (see pic). I will do the rest. I want to use it as a master so that I can cast these in resin to make the model car engines look accurate. The M/T valve covers in the Ertl/AMT Modifieds and Model King/AMT Funny Hugger Funny Car are NOT accurate. Thanks!
