I am not a collector, but i do enjoy the old box art. What i do is restore the model to look like the box art and display at home and take to shows for people to enjoy. Here is a little list of stuff i am looking for.

AMT 1967 Ford Falcon "The Vulture" with the black and white checker top.
AMT '32 Ford Vicky all white top with black 86/BA drag version
AMT '40 Willys coupe and Pickup racing side by side on lid
AMT '53 Studebaker MR. SPEED in white and also in green as funny car
AMT 1967 Chevy Corvette Stingray "Blown Glasser" green car with black and white checker top
AMT '68 Firebird Tin Indian
AMT '49 Ford Coupe with "The 49'er" option
If you cruise ebay, this is one i rebuilt. I was in a hurry to get it done and didn't even foil it, but i sure enjoyed seeing the box art come to life!
