Okay all you race fans, yeah all 37 of ya, I believe I will go out on a limb with some preliminary "mock-up" photos. Being a rookie, I ain't so comfortable being the 1st klown in, but maybe these 2 photos will get your creative juices flowing....as well as getting some photos out of y'all! It is going to be(hopefully) a '55 Chevy stretch limo hotrod. You be the judge! I have to figure out how to get the decals off(any suggestions?).The hole in the back is going to be a hot tub. C'mon, now guys. Don't leave me hangin'. Seeing your work will keep me inspired, I'm sure. And Tim, even though you said you aren't going to put up any pics, can't we least have a little teaser? Oh, and thanks to Fred for giving me both the black '55 coupe and the Nomad....and thanks to Alan(in advance) for the fender flairs that are to adorn the rear wheels!! Very, very generous of you both!! NOW SHOW ME THE PICTURES!!!!!!

Man Scott, I'd love to see either the '34 pickup or the Vicky finished up. Those are 2 killer builds. And Martin, that is a very cool looking chassis you have going there. Can't wait to see a body sitting on it.

Glad you started this thread! So, I took Scurvys advise. I grafted some aluminum mag rings I had to the newer styled 5 spokes, to make them more deep dish. A little 5 minute epoxy, and viloa:

Well, I managed to lay down some basecoat, and start painting a bit this weekend, at least a first color...... First, a good dousing of HOK Orion silver basecoat......lots of tiny microflakes....And no, I didn't smooth the oilpan seams, because they won't be visible in the end....Call me lazy.... And the first color is.......Some HOK Kandy Hot Pink...... I had some way different plans for the paint on this thing, and had sat down and tpaed it off with some 3M thin pinline tape, but I just couldn't do it......It just didn't suit it, so I'm aiming back towards my traditional fade jobs..... I'm still trying to decide on the other color(s), but pretty sure of what will be next.... This might be the last time you see this until contest end.... ;D

I have wanted to build a '39 Chevy Sedan for sometime now so I figured now is as good a any. The major body work is finished, now time to mix some putty and move forward. So far the top has an angle chop with 2 inches at the "A" pillars, the rear fenders are widened a scale 1 3/4 inches, and when it's done it will be Purple.

first of all l would like to thank johnny verkerk for the 50 pickup l intend to build a simple 50's custom l used a resin chopped cab and have grafted some louvers from the 49 merc kit and also added the front section from the bonnet 0 as well to extend the bonnet on the pickup and you can see l have lowered and what a headache that was l will be adding different rear fenders at one point and have added keystone mags

I will post some pics tomorrow...Family Reunion all day today, but last night I made some more progress on the Eye Scream. I finished the frame and sprayed some of the paint on it to see how the color will look and so far I am really liking it. Of course I still have to do body work on it so it was a waste of paint but o well, I needed to see if it was going to look ok before I went further on the project.

OK,,, I guess I'm gonna pull out the old, dusty "Wheelie Chair" project for this one.. I haven't entered anything since the "name game" which I still plan on finishing too... depending on building time on my end - maybe I'll gett'em both done for the Cobweb Classic .. We will see !
