Hi all, well I finally got some pics together of my Cobweb Classic build, the project came from a fellow local club member, who started it but lost interest. I got it for $10, with enough spare parts to make 3 trucks. this is what i started with, the cab had about 5 different colours under the black, but the easy off cleaned it up. My plan is to go half truck and half hotrod, so i took a pic of the side of the box and played with the pic on my computer. started off like this: Ended like this, (much better ;D) I started with the cab, gave it a little chop, filled all the holes in the roof and doors( so many holes ) and took out the small window on the side. the cab on the left is one of the spare ones, the one of the right is my changed cab. I also had to take some hight out of the engine block, and the sump. I cut the frame to lower the front and back, moved and changed the springs front and back, and pluged up some more holes This is the spare frame that i got and this is what the frame is ment to look like. And this is what my frame ended up like all mocked up,( nice and low) The wheels on the back came with the spares, the ones from the front are from my parts box, and the red finned brakes are sections from tomato sauce squeezie bottles Still have a LOT of work to do, and still not sure what to do about the fumes, and the colour, any ideas. I'm thinking metalic green. Dion

Good goin'. I'd stick with a "candy color" to emphasize it being a custom.
