I found out that this kit I have been looking for is made by Revell. It is molded in a Pink color. I am looking for another one. Here is what it looks like. I am also to believe it was made in the mid 70's to mid 80's. PM me if you have one and want to part with it. This 57 I have has Revell molded in the bottom pan under the exhaust. Ken...

This kit , as seen in the pic, is a Gasser. I am thinking it was a 2 in 1. My Dad would would not have bought a low rider back in the day. I have been looking at this kit from the time I could remember. I just want to give it to my Dad so he can restore this one back to the way he had it. kit # H-1314 is a newer issue. Thanks.

I just bought two of them. $24.50 for one and $22.00 for the second. That was my first kit I ever built. It was a cruddy fitting kit as I remember but I will be doing it the right way. I have a black one with vette rims but I wanted the first one because I wanted the 13" supremes and church pipe speakers in the rear.

Dude, if the doors don't open, this is not the kit your looking for.

Ken, I believe I have a couple issues of that kit that may help. The Revell Hot rod magazine series 57 chevy molded in red and the HRM series 57 street machine molded in black. Doors and hood open and I think the trunk does also can't remember. Send a PM if interested. Dennis.

This is the one that I am thinking of. Otherwise, you're talking about AMT versions. RSS

I also have a Revell Street Fighter , similar to the Low Rider, but black with flames and tinted glass.
Most of them came with the straight axle as optional parts.. so if he bought the low rider version, he could have easily built it as the gasser version.

Did they make the Lowrider kit in the mid 70's? The one I have has opening doors, Hood and trunk. It has Revell stamped on the bottom. If some one has the Lowrider kit and would like to do a trade let me know. Only if the doors, hood and trunk open.
