Scott, you're sick. Sick I tell you! I respect that in a builder! If I've not said it already, In-freaking-credible!

Well, I can see you scooping up just about every award wherever you meander with this thing Scott! It's a true work of art brother! Fantastic details, and so cleanly done they look real. Great work.

THANKS AGAIN. Sometimes I worry that so much small stuff will be too much. But since a love following a build, I figure - why not. It's fun for me too.
Bill - There is a step by step of how to make the moon disks in this month's model cars mag. I was thrilled the put it to ink.

It's been a while, but progress continues.... if not very slowly. I am right in the process of mounting up the front suspension. I ran out of rod ends and got a little bleary eyed too, so I decided to take a break. Here is the front suspension in place. I am not really happy with the steering knuckles. I may do a redesign. Those rims are all plastic with a one off bare metal treatment to make them look like spun aluminum. I had to place the 32 bolts twice because the first time they were too close to the center and touched the calipers. (not yet installed.) That is also the second round on the pedal assembly. The one you guys saw exploded against the back of my work bench when I was doing some last minute trimming with a rotary saw. All that rework ate up about two weeks, but I was able to make some improvements on the original designs. Later. Flounder Hosted on Fotki
