First of all, I would like to add these to my web site that helps everyone out when they need instructions, box art or decals for reference. I will credit whoever submits scans. Secondly, I want to build the AMT '49 Ford like shown here, but I need scans of the box and instructions. I also need scans of the AMT '56 Ford Victoria box and instructions in which this side panel came from. I like to build models replicating old box art and it's tough to do when you have everything but the reference lol Please , if you can scan these for me I would appreciate it! I prefer scans to be at least 200dpi and you can send them to trakburner@yahoo.com Here is my site so you can see what the endless project is about www.thedpmcc.com/instructionsintro.html[/url">http://www.thedpmcc.com/instructionsintro.html"]www.thedpmcc.com/instructionsintro.html AMT '49 Ford this was built by a friend of mine Dave Charlton. I can't see the box that well. AMT '56 Ford Victoria I need the exact issue that has this car on the side. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE, THESE WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE SO I CAN BUILD THEM. I hope these help, Ed Fluck pictures... They are the tops of the boxes I need scanned.

I've got 2 versions of the '56 and neither have that artwork. The one is an early 70's release and has a red built up, the other is probably late 60's release and has the STrip Fowl artwork. The technical term (from what I've heard) of the boxes you are looking for are called silent boxes since the front panels didn't have any wording or anything else other than the artwork. Sorry I couldn't help ya out Bob.

I have not seen all of them at all angles, but here are some others.... public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/instruction_sheetsh/old_discontinued-1/amt-box-art/box-art-by-style/black-border-box-art/

The '32 Coupe "Snake Eyes" kills! I love that box art. The '40 Ford "Joker" is cool to but I didn't see that one on there. I have a few of them but I only have them by chance of getting a couple here and there in collections or on the cheap at a swap meet. Isn't the Pirahna Drag Team also one of these box styles? It's a different size than the rest of the Drag Team kits and the box art is cooler than all get out! But all those Drag Team kits are silent boxes too aren't they?

Hi RodBurNeR are you looking to restore the artwork before uploading it to your site? no, that's too much work for me LOL I can do it, but I don't have time. I know you might be asking because I am asking for scans....well I always prefer scans, they are much nicer. The only pic of the '56 I have is too hard to see detail in the art such as colors and decals.

I would just love to have the box for the '56 it's "Boss" - love the old box art. They have way more class than todays stuff.
