The last two I sold went for close to 3 bills ... and they seemed to be getting a little harder to find a good clean builder .. A fellow C.C.2 member has the U.C. "T" body kit that he's sells ... drop an email to "rickg"

why not just go with the one suggestion for the body, and build an entire car around it?, casting is not easy, I have seen restorables in ebay anywhere from $35 and up, and complete kits from $150 and up.
it's really surprising Monogram hasn't reissued this kit?, they have to have the tooling for it.
look at the current re-issues, they put most of the original custom parts back into the 58 T bird,
oh well
take care George

i had a Uncertain T 17 years ago and a family member stole it. i am watching ebay now for one. if i find one i am still going to do a cast. i know its hard but some one has to do it. and if i can get some help one the measurements for the frame, body and floor insert i will start making a cast frome scratch as to not run into copy right problems. thanks

The dies for this kit are long gone, as told to me by a former employee of Revell-Momogram, so don't expect it to show up ever.

It depends how many you have in your stash .. and the mint kits are rare selling in excess of $300.00 ... I know, I've bought and sold over 7 kits in the past 5 years .. If they were plentiful I doubt if they'd sell that high (?)

Just to clarify, I don't believe the Uncertain T is rare at all. It's just very popular. As for if it weren't rare, I'd agree in saying that the Tijuana Taxi, Rommel's Rod, and Dragon Wagon are not rare either and they always bring excess amounts of money. They are just at the top of the list for people who are looking for these types of kits. So, not really rare but definitely popular. The more popular the more supply and demand comes into play.

What ever philosophy a person decides to go with will appease their personal anxiety .. lol.. Me? I guess I'm blessed in the fact that I buy whatever model kits I want . I don't even take in to consideration if it's "Rare" or "Popular" .. I just go with the "cool factor" and bring a fist full of 100 dollar bills .. Dollar bills are nothing more than FUN TICKETS .. The more FUN TICKETS you have , the more fun you can have !! Woohoo!! ..
Hey, it's only a piece of plastic ! Starry Eyes
