To get the two '55 frontclips hold together i took humbrols liquid glue and added 20% acetone and then simply glued the pieces together. The rear end is stock '55 Nomad with custom rearlight treatment from AMT '57 Chevy and some cones cut of from airplane bombs and a custom roll-pan from AMT '56 Ford Victoria. I'm glad You like it , thanks alot for Your kind words!!!!

Just a quick update. I've done the paint touch-ups during the weekend. Here's a pic showing some of the interior. And an additional exterior pic.

Thanks alot for all friendly comments! The car is undergoing a paint-procedure right now. Unfortunately the masking-tape lifted the primer and base Gold when it was pulled off..... The paint will be saved thou. Using a very fine 5/0 brush I have filled in the scallops with gold. Next step will be light wet-sanding and then a couple of layers with clearcoat. The Crown Victoria glass-top insert will be green-tinted. Most of the interior will be white with gold accents and black carpet on the floor. Engine will be an old inline-6 from a Chevy truck, souped up with double carbs and some chrome. I still have 11 days to complete this build then it's dead-line for the on-line competition in which I'm taking part with this model.

No primer-queen this time. Dark green metallic and maybe some subtle golden scallops. Diamond pleated white vinyl upholstry on the seats and bedcover. A little more putty, some sanding, more primer and then it's time for final paint.

Me likes a lot!!!!!
Add a "coffin-look" sleeper behind the cab and it'll look even better IMHO !
I'm thinking something like... A coffin, in a raised position and extended between the top and bottom to match the width of the cab.
Maybe with diamond-shaped side windows from an old AMT van???
