I need to stop buying things off eBay. Good thing IU never pulled the trigger on the Snoopy stuff. Memories!

Wow! That's awesome, Dave! That printer must be a game changer. Endless possibilities. No more decals for custom tread and a million other things.
I'll have to develop some CAD skills. In the meantime I'll keep hacking in gluing styrene.
I'll be watching!

I really like what you are doing with this one, Paul. Changing the split body is a great upgrade. I'm looking forward to the finish.
The DIGGER in its original pyscedelic colors is one of my all time favorites. I have an original that I think I'll do the same way. The decals might be a bit messed up. but I'll get another set.

Off to a great start, Dave. Are you planning on getting this one 3D printed?
Good to see come around.

I finally picked one up. I was happy to see it was molded in white. I'm not really interested in the metallic surprises.

I'll have to check out Monster Garage. See if the Hedgehog is back. LOL.
A couple more shows.... Las Vegas Rat Rods. Not for me. Fake drama. "If the timing is wrong at start up, the whole motor can explode like a bomb." Really?
There is one on HBO or Netflix that has built some pretty well know modern customs including the chrome bubble top t-bird Teressi replicated a few years back. The mechanic on that show is pretty interesting.
I also like Full Custom Garage. Ian does some good work for pretty much flying solo.

I just sent them the link to the Jocko Johnson Spirit of 29 Palms original wind tunnel model that is for sale on eBay. I wonder if they will pick it up.

If you have not checked out Car Kings give it a try. They have featured restorations of some awesome show rods. So far: the bath tub. Red Foxx Wrecker, The Wishbone, and a few minutes on the Orbitron.
I really like Bitchin Rides and Overhaulin but the guys at GAS are recalling hitting the mark with subject matter. Oh, no fake drama either.

Guess I am a little late to the show. I just watched the episode last night. That was very cool to see the Bathtub brought to life - That never was. I never realized the frame was upholstered. I have a rebuilder stashed away. Now I know how to do it right.
I would like to see what else the Jersey guy has in his stash beside the Outhouse.
I also noticed the Zingers behind the narrator. What is the story with Galpin Auto Sports? Are they gathering up all the classic show cars?

Both of those models are great builds of Monogram classics. The Paddy Wagon is spot on with just enough extra detail to make it stand out. And I would have never have predicted how good the Boot Hill Express looks in white. Kudos, Gentelmen!

41 Chevy - I'm with you on the Hubley metal kit. I remember we had one that was never finished, which was rare for me then. The body did not fit and the screws did not screw into the holes.
The plastic one that I never finished as a kid was the Scorpion. That was because I could not get the multi-piece body to stay together when I applied tube glue over a thick coat of testers light blue paint. I also remember have a problem figuring out the foot board on the Boot Hill Express. I think my brother helped me with that .
Amazingly, I did manage to finish a Chopped Deuce and Dual Jewel when I was 14. Can't speak to the quality.

I thought I would post this here. I was digging through some boxes and I found this autographed picture I got from Tom Daniel for my entry in the Fools for TD contest. (I placed in the unfinished class, which is about the best I can do over the last decade.) I also had an e-mail exchange with Tom. It was a real childhood dream come true. The pic got water damaged in a house flood. Figures. What I always wondered when looking at the picture was how big were the pencils Tom was using? Take a look at his arms. Flounder

Great job on both Bandits! I have the kits. I'll be sure to spray the decals when I eventually build them. Hopefully, they will come out as good as yours.

I've been meaning to post my dies cast stuff to my fotki site. I finally got around to it tonight. I found a few items that I thought you all might enjoy. From Johnny Lighting I remember picking this 1/18 scale beauty up for 8 bucks at the Hot Wheels clearance center in Chino CA These are 1/32? Scott

I'll be watching this one. I found that the Tony Nancy slingshot chassis fits in there pretty well. You will have to extend the front if you want it to reach the axle. Scott
