This is what is left of the Z-28 Chassis Plate after narrowing it and making room for the LED set-up. I cut 3 pieces of plastic to fit between the Chassis Plate sides. This will increase the glueing surface of this piece.

I cut off the part of the inside wheel halves that stuck out past the tires. This reduced the width of the rear track by about 3/8"

[glow=red,2,300]SKULLY is Ready to Race![/glow] I used "The Detailer" and lightly covered the Skull & hand with several light coats of black thinned with water. I made the Roll Cage with flexable plastic rod. The Roll Cage really adds a lot to the interior, I like it!

Here is the modified Deals Wheels Chassis Plate in place. I added a piece of white plastic tubing to hold the rear axle. The black areas will all be touched up before mounting the tires. The wires for the LED's go through the drivers seat into the Chassis Plate. I was able to fit most of the LED set-up into the engine compartment area. The Headers are in place and I added a dragster oil pan.

[glow=red,2,300]But it says HEMI!!!![/glow] The HEMI engine cuts off at the body line, nothing under there. So I decided to add to the illusion, I added spark plug lines! The lines just go through holes that I drilled in the engine opening.

The Z-28 kit came with molded in tail lights... I wanted to put some clear red tail lights on instead, but couldn't find the right size set in the parts box. I ended up using headlights and painting them, red and amber, on the inside.
