I was wondering where the wine was. Good to see it still moving, even if at a slow pace. Keep Going Bobby! It looks awesome!

I've only been here for a couple of months and this is the first time I have seen this one and all I can say is.............WOOOOW!!! That is after I picked up my jaw off the floor and swapped keyboards (too much drool on the other one). Going through all 15 pages of this at one time was almost to much for me to handle. This is truly an awesome work of art you are building here and I can't wait to see the final results!!

The guy was really cool. I could only talk with him briefly on Sunday, but he had to restore the entire thing. He said the original barrels in the bed were fiberglass. He used fresh oak ones, and it ran and drove. I wanted to drive it!

This is one amazing build! I really admire the handi-work and detail in this one! I know it's a tedious project, but I'm glad you're continuing on with it, Bobby! It's super!

Hi guys, I don’t want to hi-jack Bobby's thread but I'm Jack the guy that Brandon mentioned above. The guy who rebuilt the real WineWagon. I just wanted to say thanks to Brandon for the awesome pictures. I've been so busy with a full time day job, a wonderful family and rebuilding the WW that I haven't even had time to take any good pictures of it.
One correction the barrels are actually cedar. They were a lot cheaper and lighter than real Oak wine barrels.
Anyway I really love what you guys do, believe it or not I find it easier to build full size cars. Models require more talent and patience than I have. I always check out the model section at all car shows. I'm always shocked how creative and realistic they are.
Bobby, I love your build and wish I had seen it before I took on the WW rebuild. It would have been nice to use some of your idea.
Oh and on a side note, I've been speaking with Ed Newton over the time of the project and he has been a true inspiration. He's a great guy and a wonderful person. Knowing that he liked what I was doing is what helped drive me to a 3 month completion. Thanks Newt I appreciate it.
Thanks again guys, again I've actually been to your site many times and love it.
Take care, Jack

This one is still around and now I've worked a little on it. There is no turning back, everything you see here... ... is now firmly stuck together For the central front light, I found nothing suitable, so I made first, one out of aluminum Then I found that it is a bit too small, and made a bigger, now one of brass With matching glass from PET The rear lights were a challenge, which I made from this here I tried again the grape design The barrel rings are made of aluminum, turned, different diameters, different angle Mounted, the whole looks like this I hope, you like it so far.
