I've been started a long time with this project. Body changes, filling, sanding, again and again, the roof is extended, or better said: a new roof manufactured, because it previously had none. But then, I liked something at it no longer and so it stopped... Then sent me Dan Barten, my kit for the swap contest. ;D He grabbed, addition to the regular kit still quite a few extra parts in this box. The box was completely filled. Thank you very much Dan! ;D Unfortunately survived this Corvette body, the long post route, not without damage. And exactly that, lacking even for this project. ;D I was not happy with the rear part of this bodybash. That's it! So I cut the tail and planted it there. The rear spoiler of a Ferrari F50 came to the mission, whose body, dismembered, was also somewhere around... And so it looks, all now: Hope, you like it. ;D I wonder if anyone prosecuted this Corvette + Van topic? It was a competition between a few of you, right? coffincorner.proboards89.com/index.cgi?board=2007&action=display&thread=5802What happened? Lost interest? We roll this again? ;D I would be in... What do you think? (apart from the fact that I still have other projects and I should build in advance ..., ... and ...) ;D

WOW!
That is insane Bobby! Your vision for the flow of a body is just outstanding. That has show car written all over it. Regardless of a Vette Van challenge, you've got to finish that one. The body is just too cool for words.
Keep on rollin' Bobby, just outstanding!

Thank you for the kind words! Bobby what colors are you thinking? Dan, I have no idea. I have not yet thought about. Any proposal? That is now the state of this project: That is the possible Composition, rims and tires. But I'm still not quite sure. What do you think about it? I also have no front lighting yet. Should I suggest simply folding headlights, or should I embed lamps behind glass? Any proposal?

Hey Bobby, great build coming along in your typical style. Very nice!
Some thoughts on colors and such since you asked. The wheels aren't grabbing me like most of your builds do. I think it's just the centers though. I'm not much for the look of the Lambo style. I got to thinking, what if you used the same deep super car style wheels you have on it but date it back a bit to say an early 70s styled stock Super Sport style wheel. Maybe the combonation between the newer deep aluminum style you have on it with the centers might really have that wow factor. As for color, you definitely need something with some impact here. Maybe something as in a an early stock color but with some pearl twist to it to make it pop. Something in a GM shade of orange or even the red would look really wicked cool but I'd tend to go with the orange moreso than the red so you are able to stay away from the Ferrari theme.
However, it doesn't matter what way you go with this, it's going to be outstanding I'm sure. Looking forward to seeing more progress.

Much bigger tires, especially in back. Really likin' the shape a bunch, kinda an IMSA wagon thing going on. But it needs some serious big wheels and tires... Maybe take a que from the Jada Big Time Muscle style stuff....

Thank you for the kind words! I have worked a little on this project. Again small steps, but at least something ... First, a few pictures: It still has no a clear coat and is not yet polished. I thought initially, somehow, this color would never dry. Definitely not as fast as I am accustomed to me, but now I'm satisfied. ;D I can now tape the stripes... Hope, you like it so far.
