I don't know if I would call it a score but I got a resin boss fink for $63.00 that includes the shipping. I also got a resin reproduction li'l gypsy wagon and from looks of the kit I personally would rather have this expertly weathered kit than any original due to the way AL built it. The price of the kit plus build and shipping was $150.00

I built my first kit when I was 4. But I didn't really get into building model kits until I was around 13. like so many others I started with show rods. but branched out to other kits as I got more into the hobby.

I'm not sure that it's eBay's fault for crappy shipping, high prices, and bad sellers. It's the sellers fault eBay leaves it up to them to determine the price of their goods and shipping. you can look at their rating. eBay displays the info. in their profile. If they don't have a good rating I wouldn't advise buying from them. If you get ripped off give them a bad rating warn others report them to eBay get them blocked from the site. Don't blame eBay blame the sellers. Also buyers can be just as bad. if something goes wrong with them eBay normally will take their side . So if something goes wrong with them. I wold advise just cut your losses and move on. Unless it's some kind of large deal. If that happens I would advise you to fight the issue.

Don't feel bad even the best eBay buyers get ripped off. I was ripped off a few years ago after I bought a fire cracker. Not five minutes after the auction ends he emails me some bull about some guy breaking into his truck and stealing the car and a few other kits he is selling. guess what he doesn't take any other of the kits he is selling down. Then just a month later he puts up a firecracker just like the one i bought . But still for the most part eBay provides us modelers with the best shot of finding the rare and desirable kits. This seller sounds like a complete loser who doesn't know what he is doing. (Just because you had one bad buy doesn't mean you should delete your account) On another note I'm glad you found one of your grails.
