I finally got some free time time so I attended the Dayton, OH Toy and Collectible Show. Decent number of vendors and most were willing to deal. Here are the kits I got: I got them all for $40. All are unbuilt except the Silhouette. Just the car is started, the trailer is untouched. One vendor had boxes with price ranges listed on them. I got this Bag-O-Decals for $2 Marty

Man, Dave - I've been looking for that red white and blue issue 53 panel for years ! I had one as a kid, but made a horrible mess of it and it ended up in a million pieces after I stuffed a few firecrackers in it. The Vega is a cool kit too , That was a great score !!

I'm not saying I did not score well, but some of you other Klowns scored magnificantly: Laramie Ghost Ghost Rider Sand Crab Uncertain T Wild Dream/King T Boss A Bone Blue Beetle Dragonfire
Just to name a few........these are "to kill for" finds and many are on some of our "grail" list as well.
But I guess one man's grail is another man's parts model.....
There are so many great finds in this thread! It is really good to see these finds out there and especially having the right timing to be in a position to pick them up!

I spent some time today trying to sort out some of all "junk" I've found on the 'bay during the last 2-3 years. A lot of it is, of course, showrods....... ;D So, I took a rather large box and put it all in that box. That way I know where to search for all the nice showrod-stuff when building Here's what it looked like when half-full (It's been filled since and there are even more....

I received my ebay win in the mail yesterday. it's a Sticks & Slicks "Choppers Block" mostly unbuilt, in the original box. I was happy to see it's all there, even the fabric is uncut.

Very cool stuff!!! Lou, ya gonna build that sticks N slicks kit? I was planning on building it, but now that I see it I'm not sure. it's been in that box for close to 40 years now, and still in great shape. (the box is bent though). I will have to think about it. I do have like 30 other unbuilt showrod models I can do before I have to decide. I recently started a business, and don't have as much time as I used to, so it might have to wait anyway

I AM SO EXCITED I CAN HARDLY STAND IT!!!!!!!!!!! OK, so I stumble upon this auction with just a description, no pictures, of some model kits. The seller has a rating of 1, yes one!! I took a chance and went ahead and bid. I got the box today. WOO-HOO a new sealed T-Bird! I have wanted one of these all my life!! Oh yeah, some old car with dolls or something inside: ;D And some old race cars: ;D ;D ;D ;D And this: WOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! The description said is was still sealed, and it was basically. The clear wrap was still there but almost completely torn off. Notice the paint bottle and brush are still in there. The decals are MINT, the box is almost perfect. What was my winning bid you ask? $46.00!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Marty
