He shoots and scores! A Maxi Mav, Carl Caspers Paddy wagon,Moon mixer, and a Jinx express. I bought all of them at the 3 rivers automodlers meeting last night, $5.00 each. The maxi mav was the only one that was painted, they were all built ups not glue bombs.

A while back I saw an ad in craigslist for kits. Well the guy got his recently deceased grandfathers collection, but he went on ebay and wanted the the highest price that he had seen some of the kits go for. Well they were all out of my range so I gave him the number of a couple of guys that always sell at the swap meets. Well they picked up most of what he had so since I saved him a lot of ebay listing and shipping he gave me this kit to thank me for helping him out. I wasnt expecting anything but was glad to get a free model

I picked this up off the bay last week. The thing I like about this lot is that this lot had the only issue of the Model A that came with the yellow 5 window roof. The body, roof and mating pieces were all fresh and I'll enjoy the heck out of finally getting one to play around with. The kicker is that this lot only cost me 10.50 plus shipping which kept it under 20 bucks. I've seen the repop Model A 5-window kits go for more than that.

I'll tell you guys how I have been scoring a LOT of good deals lately on ebay. With the market being so soft, a lot of vendors are really wanting to unload some of this stuff they have been storing for a while. I look for auctions with "Make an Offer" on them for one thing. I will send a low-ball bid in, and I have found about 50% of the time, they take it! There's nothing I'm really dying to have in my stash, so it's no big deal if I don't get it. I've been buying up Star Wars kits, and there's some silly prices on some of them. I look for vendors with "correct" postage, not some trumped up shipping and "handling" fee to run up the cost. ( I won't buy from unscrupulous vendors who do this. ) The ones with really low opening bids are the ones I will bid on too. Often, they will have 99 cents, and nobody ends up bidding! Heck, if you pay a buck and then 6 bucks to ship it, it still is cheap! You can't buy a regular kit off the shelf hardly for less than 15 bucks anymore! Getting an often vintage kit for less than 10 bucks is great! (especially these Star Wars kits for me!) It's a buyers market right now. I figure, even if I end up with duplicates, I can resell them later or use them to trade!

I know what you mean Paul. I made an offer to seller on ebay for a truck kit that was $61.99 and the guy came back with a counter offer of $2.00 lower. I guess he is just posting the kit so people can see what he has in his collection.
