I just spray some water mixed with sugar on the inside of the box, weigh it down with a heavy book , let dry and that's all to it. Just be careful not to over spray the board , it will stain the box.

I have seen something similar but using a washing starch instead, problem with using sugar is it attracts ants into the house. Col.

Very nice score Bob! Those bikes seem to be pretty popular.
As for the sticky, wouldn't be a bad idea but it seems to stay close to the top. I'll see if I can help it along tomorrow evening. Oldskewljay and I are headed to a toy show where we usually pick up some good deals.

If thats the same one that was on the bay for 395.00 a week ago he up the price to 475.00 for the holidays I think........ hummm thats pricey ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yep, I know Dave and he is in a bit of money pinch after loosing his job .. if you remember I tried cashing in on a mint kit from Dana but got burned for $400 plus .. pricey ? yes but I've wanted one for a long , long time and I knew Dave's would be dead on mint ... and after looking in the box I was right.. he packed thing like fine china.. I felt like I helped a fellow modeler (plus he's a drummer ) .... out in tough times plus with both of us being a drummer I felt comfortable doing the deal ... Dave's got couple other kits I'd like to have down the road as well... I've used to spend more for a couple glue bombs hoping to build a diamond out of a piece of coal .. this baby is a true gem ! ;D

Not exactly a show rod model.... HOLY BATMAN LP!! [Photobucket cleanup] Picked it up at an antique show this weekend for $15.00. The vendor lied to me. He said it played well. It looks better then some of my LP's, but skips a lot. Marty
