Yahoo! In the great find department, I don't know why I happened to click on this particular auction - the '29 Roadster Pickup kit is pretty common - but the description said that in addition to the kit shown, the buyer would also get the "built dune buggy" shown in one of the pictures. That's what actually caught my eye, as it showed a mostly complete Dune Rat. I received all of it today, and sure enough, the pile o loose parts in the pictures includes ALL the rest of the Dune Rat parts, including the tail, and all intact. 17 bucks for a complete unglued Dune Rat. And the instructions. I'll take it! m.ebay.com/itm/111475955746?txnId=0

Great scores guys. These arrived in the post yesterday. I built a Firebomb back I the 70's and have been looking for one since I came back to car modelling a few years ago. When I saw this one I ad to have it, even though it cost considerably more than the price on the label.

Nice, Tim! The Firebomb is always a nice one to get. That's a neat looking kits.
Well, after watching it for a couple days, I bit the bullet and bought a Horn Toad off the 'bay. Not cheap, but a fair price, I thought. It's an old build, but there's no way you'd touch an unbuilt one for the price. It IS the original green version, is complete with no broken parts, and doesn't look like a glue bomb. Should be a good restoration project!

Brian I think I saw the one you bought , it did look in very nice condition . Congrats ! I recently added to my collection of MPC trikes . . . the Black Max trike ! Also complete and not a glue bomb . Now the only one I'm missing is the Cobra Chopper , I'm not holding my breath for that one !

Its not a showrod, but it is a TD designed 1/32 scale kit - I just got this today from Ebay. Its complete, and the best part about it is that its molded in lime green ! I've seen a bunch of these Mustang kits, and even though the show a yellow kit on the early boxes and a lime green one the side flap of this later issue ,I have only ever seen this kit molded in orange. I'm still looking for the Gremlin and Pinto versions of these kits !

Mostly pieces and parts but some started kit bashes from back in the day. It was a great find today! I will try to get more pictures when I get a chance. The little Duce seems to be mostly there on a quick look at the sale. I can't wait to get into all this, there are trophies, a die cast tank and plastic 1/32 scale car from the 50's and again I just quickly looked through each box. Boxes are dirty and written on but what a life they had! I think the guy was going to trash them. It was a good save. GB barten
