Been awhile since I posted anything to the Score thread so I figured I'd put a couple that Santa Mailman brought this week...
This was a nifty lot that yielded me some more pieces for a Brother Rat Fink kit. I'm slowly getting enough that I can resto a fairly complete representation. The other parts helped me get closer to completing some other originals as well. Soon I'll be able to start building the Rat Fink collection.

Another that arrived today is one more piece to my Aurora collection of their hot rods. Only a couple more to go and I've got all the ones I wanted when I started gathering them. This one is unbuilt in a very nice box. Since there had been some chit chat about these I thought it'd be cool to post this one since it just got here.

I won this lot of useful show-rod stuff on evilbay recently. Now, if I only could pull myself together and start building showrods again...

I really don't know the origins of that turquise "thing", maybe a plastic container for a bottle of parfume? However that was the main reason I bought the lot as I got that very same picture in my head.....hemi, w/w slicks and...well, you know what I mean!

I won this lot of useful show-rod stuff on evilbay recently. Now, if I only could pull myself together and start building showrods again... I'm not sure what version the blue one is but there is a build of one in an old Car Model magazine from the 70's. From the looks of the blue one, it appears to be a bit bigger than the one I have. I think I still have the picture on my computer at home and will post if so. I had always wanted to build one like the pictured but with some upgrades and some styling that I thought would be better than what the original builder used but the original is very cool and left an impression on me. Very cool find though. The model that gets me in that lot however is the AMT '28 Sedan that is pretty much butchered. Not super rare but it's never been reissued since the 60's.

Got these last year off of Evil bay - actualy the Wild Dream/King "T" was my first e-bay transaction thank's to Paul C. (TyPo)as he posted a link to the Man from U.N.C.L.E car on the bay and while there I found this - placed a bid and won ;DThe rubber tires made a mess of some parts - actualy disolving a couple :PBut they were easily replaced with parts from the Icecream truck and Outcast. Thanks Keith

[/quote] Just one more reason I like this thread! I've had a set of these decals floating around for years and couldn't figure out what they were for! Thanks for posting your score Hale, I appreciate it. Thanks also to Jay for hooking me up with one of those ICE Cycle kits to do a resto on my Boss Bike builder. Now if I can figure out where those decals are, I'll be able to put everything together...ha ha! Great score Hale!

You can't beat free -- given to me by a club member, after several of these were located at another member's house / stash: (thanks Don!!!) I've never had this one before, so very cool to get. Plus fun to show this to other members at the club meeting last Saturday where someone else had brought in the Circus Wagon to sell -- and telling them the Hangman came from that kit.

I got my RC2 Double Dragster kit (tin) from Len at Fantastic Plastics and all I can say is "WOW" .. John and the boys at RC2 know how to bring back another oldie in style ... This tin is like the old flat boxes and the lettering and artwork art laser clean .. I just can't bring myself to crack the seal just yet as I've already got projects on the table .. I'll get a photo up a little later this morning . Len's shipping was more than fair and was very prompt maybe 2-3 days from PA to Illinois .. it's all good .. fnplastics@aol.com www.fantastic-plastics.com-Starry-
