Wow -Dave that is a great kit!! ;)I had that when I was 15 and it was one of the most fun kits I ever built ;DI've been wanting one of these for a while now.Great score - maybe when you receive the kit you could post better pix then the auction's as they are a bit blurry ;)Thank's for sharing Keith P.S. Glad you guy's liked the saucer kit - I thought it was so cool when I first saw it... P.P.S. For those interested - I did a search and found that the Pro Street Mustang kit No.099-38021 is 95% the same ;DQuite a few of the chrome parts have changed - the hood and it look's like the front tires are different and of coarse the decals but the main grey parts are the same!! Thank's again Keith

Yeah, I have several of the different issues of the Pro Street Mustang, but the Malco Gasser has never been reissued with all the original parts, especially the correct hood. That's why I bought it. GREAT box, too. I love original kits.

Just got the reissue of Royal Rail off the bay for $17.59..FREE SHIPPING! Thats less than I would have paid at Hobby Lobby. Last time I was there a few weeks ago it was $21 and change without tax. I thought I found gold at a flea market last week Td's Son of Ford from Monogram in the original box! NOT! when I opened the box it was full of Christmas oraments! I still bought it for the box! paid a whopping .25 cents! Box is not in mint condition but not too bad. I'd say a 7 out of 10. Not bad for a quarter!

Just found these from Ebay. Actually package came from Spain. Anyway Skid-doo is made in USA 1963, But Meat Wagon in Canada 1964. So I have a stupid question for you :Was Aurora a global company? I know this is a place to get an answer...

Great scores! As far as I know Aurora had manufacturing companies in U.S.A. - Canada - and the U-K(England).the English company would be the one to ship to other European countries.A.J.would probably know for sure and will probably give you a more detailed answer.
The Dragula is one of my faves.of all time - I'm glad they desided to reissue it - and the Surf Slab is cool!!Great find - cool box! Thanks Keith

Well, I actually can't say for sure on the distribution of the Aurora kits but I've gotten a few from overseas. The only thing I can say for sure is that they were released in Canada as well because I do have a couple with French writing and slightly different box material. Same kits though, not much different. I love the 32 Skidoo and the Meat Wagon. I'm still working on getting a nicer Meat Wagon for my collection. Nice scores Sakke. I may have gotten an Aurora kit from the same guy if he was sellign a bunch of them.

Thanks for respond fellas!!! The seller was a cool guy, Marcel. He had all those cool Aurora kits!! Actually Meat Wagon instructions has French writing and box is smaller than Skidoo`s. These are in good condition, but Meat Wagon has missing decals.

Got an unbuilt Trick T off E-bay for $26.00! A couple of parts were spray painted and some of the parts were off the trees but it looks complete! Even has the original decals...not sure if their useable. They look good but the backing paper looks like it was exposed to humidity and I'm not sure If they will release when dipped in water. We'll see. I tried to get the aftermarket decals that are advertised on the top of all of the forum pages but they seem to be sold out! When I looked a few weeks ago they had them listed but not anymore! Before I trying to use these I'll scan them even though my printer is too old to try to print them! Perhaps I can get them from the fellow that I got the Baja Bandito and Jinx Express decals from ;D It's all good! The only bummer was the Trick T had no box Got to keep my eyes open for that one!

Cool stuff buddies! Don your Nomad is really cool. I can`t see it too hard to mate with recent 57 reissue. Banditomike scan those decals!!! I was too stupid and used kit some decals with bad results ( I clearcoated them ). Someone may possibly make good decals from scans.

I have been trying to get this kit for a while. Not for the model, but for the box art. Of course every time it shows up on the bay it goes for more then I am willing to spend: Of course to get it I had to get all this: The large kits were an added bonus. They were called "Smallsters". The kits are from 1949!! As I find out more info on them I will post it. Marty

I got these in 3 different auctions: I got a Woodie too!! ;D It is the most common of the Aurora AFX Specialty Chassis cars. The Model "A" Sedan Delivery and the '56 Ford Pick-Up are really kool. The P/U shows up quite a bit, but to get it with the exhaust stacks unbroken is the trick. They also made a Model "A" Coupe. Marty
