Just when I thought the days of Ebay deals are over, I score this grail. Described as a few parts painted and "mostly complete" I looked it over , most of the parts were still on the trees and I didn't see much missing so I figured it was worth a shot. Well I won it for 42 bucks shipped, and the kit is complete right down to the decals ! Now if only I could find a Guber Wagon for this price ....

Nice score, Don! E-Bay just requires a little more patience lately.

I've bought some 3D wheels/tyres with chunky treads for an upcoming rally car build. They included the brake disks which I have already started painting.

What's this (Attachment deleted) thing going on? Anyway delivered today another set of 3D wheel/tyre combo in the Minilite design with brake disks. These will fit most 1/24 or 1/25 scale builds, including perhaps a Lotus 7 in build at present or a Porsche 914 or most anything else sporty!

After normal building, it's just in the post! I love TOONS! I know they are not everybody's cup of tea but to a 74 year old (next week) they are a fun shot in the arm!

Great Score Pat , you're going to love this kit ! I have the Red Baron Triplane and the Titanic kits and they are really detailed for Toons yet they are still very simple to assemble . I posted a bunch of pics of what's in the box at this link : car-toons.proboards.com/thread/1867/suyata-fokker-dr1-baron-titanic

Yes Bob, super kit, no painting which for me is a bonus, here with decals, but the pilot is still in the pant shop! Sunday 22.48pm-Update here's the pilot out of the paint shop. I thought he had a small dog with him, on a closer look at the box art it's a grey and white cat!

After 6-12 months on backorder I've had an email to say it's in the post! When our youngest son was 21 we took his Beetle to a specialist 911 builder Frances Tuthill. He did suspension/paint etc to make it ready to show. Two of these were in his workshop along with about twenty other 911's, 914's, and 365's all being restored. His son Richard still supplies classic 911's for racing and rallying.

Our eldest son (53) in Calgary sent me a LEGO E-Gift voucher for my birthday last week (74). After buying online the box arrived a few minutes ago from Belgium 3 days later. The kit has 1106 parts, and box is 19" long 11" wide and 5" deep! These large kits always come with a free gift.

Another one of these too! I bought and built the first one in 2016, how time flies! It's been delivered today 04.05.22! Although it's all intact in one factory sealed bag, it looks as though it's been in a very damp place for years! Looking at box the box and instructions they are dated 1965! Update, 08.05.22. I've cut open the bag today and checked all of the parts for molded info. On the underside of one part it has 'Ed Roth 1965'. The damaged box has on printed on it ' Revell Inc Venice California, Copyright 1962-1965' If it was a re-issue it would have on the box ' Revell-Monogram Morton Grove, IL with a 1993 copyright date'. So it's that old!

As Father's Day was when I was in Portugal I was surprised by this kit on my return to the UK, It was from our youngest son.. And while I was abroad I found this for further inspiration, having a few kits on the shelf awaiting builds..

I've found a Meters Manx in the UK. Purchased from a fellow modeler, on my trying to find a Meyers Manx kit in the UK. My purchase after discussion included the Subaru and the Corvette needing tyres! Whilst building the Manx I shall make templates for a scratchbuilt beach buggy project.
