These two + a couple of other "semi-builts" (non showrods) was recently won in a swedish online auction. Total incl shipping $25 Nice! If you only got one of those for that it'd be much more than worth it.
And they look well built, too!

Did Atlantis tell you directly that they had the mold for Speed Shift? The reason I ask is that someone on another board stated that he asked Atlantis about Speed Shift and they told him that they didn't have the mold as it had been lost...

The reason I ask is that someone on another board stated that he asked Atlantis about Speed Shift and they told him that they didn't have the mold as it had been lost... Not sure on Speedshift.. last I heard they were negotiating a deal with Stanley on EACH kit .. on another note Atlantis does have this : YUP - this needs to be re-issued ASAP! What's the story of the Tweddy Pie portion of this kit? Was it a different kit from the standard Tweedy Pie? I thought I read somewhere that the Tweedy Pie portion might not exist. Tweedy Pie by itself was re-released back in 2012. Could that be used? If Tweedy Pie doesn't exist, the Outlaw portion of Robbin' Hood Fink might be an option... The Atlantis press release on the Miller kits made no mention of Speed Shift not existing so the inference was that all of them existed and were, as you say, part of the package.

Just delivered by UPS from Holland, 4 Shapeways 3D printed, TRAX or two pairs as is the case, in 1/24-1/25 scale in white stiff plastic. I can now try to find the vehicle to fit them to, be it a Jeep, Smart Car or Meyers Manx! What a clot! I've just realised that these are upside down! The largest wheel in the pack is the one that is the driven wheel onto an axle!

These arrived a few days ago . . . would you believe under $16.49 on Ebay ? Yep , I was the 2nd bidder and I guess nobody else wanted them ! Only the second set I've seen in many years of watching , I bought the first set for about $50 thinking I'd never have another chance .

I finally acquired a M.I.B. Revell Rat Fink in Lotus Racer for my collection a couple of weeks ago: I also scored this fabulous Monogram Indy Lotus a week ago: Neither was cheap. I paid through the nose for them. Nice - sometimes you have to pay though the nose because you never know if and when you'll get another chance at it.

The Rat Fink in Lotus Racer and Mr. Gasser in BRM Racer kits are demand scarce because of x-over appeal. Slot car enthusiasts as well as "Big Daddy" Roth and custom culture fans all prize them. I'm both so I ended up wincing but paying the price for the Rat Fink in Lotus Racer kit.

A 1979 Matchbox-AMT VW Golf.. As it has side panels in the kit to depict a Delivery Van I'm most likely to go that way.

Finally warm enough to get the 67 Buick GS400 out for a righteous ride to the hobby shop. And yes, scored the MPC Squad Rod, and it seems to be complete with decent decals, which are pretty important on this one.

Be sure to spray the decals with some clear before you use them , it will keep them from disintegrating in the water ! And by the way . . . your '67 GS is absolutely gorgeous !
