WORKIN' The FENDERS!!! I cut sheet plastic to fit the rear-bottoms of the Fenders... Then I glued the plastic on to the Fenders and Sanded the edges smooth. Next... The Stinger!!!

[glow=red,2,300]ADDING The STINGER!!![/glow] I wanted to bring the rear of the body to a point, so I cut a triangular piece of sheet plastic to size. Next I cut 2 grooves in the edge for the Wire. Then I cut 2 1/4" lengths of Brass Wire and glued them in the grooves. Next I flat-sanded the rear tip of the body & drilled 2 holes for the Brass Wire. I used Zap-A-Gap Green Label Glue to attach the Stinger in place. Foam File Boards and a little putty were used to blend the Body & Stinger together. That's the Shape I was looking for.... ;D

[glow=red,2,300]VETTE VENTS!!![/glow] I cut the Vents from the sides of the Corvette with a Dremel Tool. Next I traced the shape of the vent onto the sides of the CordVette and cut them out with the Dremel Tool and Cutting Wheel. With a little Carving and Sanding the Vents fit right in! I Rough Sanded the area with a File Board, then smoothed it down with some 220 Sandpaper. [glow=red,2,300]We Got Vents!!![/glow]

That would be FANTASTIC!!!! ;D ;D ;D Oh heck Ira, you just swap glue for a welder, plastic for metal, razor saws for chop saws and your sprayguns get bigger. Easy Peasy, you'll have it done by next week. Now get to work! ;D

[glow=red,2,300]Blending the Parts...[/glow] I Cut and Fit 4 pieces of plastic to Bridge the Gap between the Fenders and the Rear of the CordVette. Here is another view! I spread putty over all the rough spots, now for some more Sanding...
