Man, this week was BUSY...I had flu all week just in time for Christmas, but still had to do all the gift shopping, get the groceries for Christmas next week, drag a tree half way across town on the train...managed to sneak a little building time in though! Hoping to do some more on my RR this weekend...just getting this interior ready for primer. Added some door handles and stuff to make it look a little less flat:

Any of you guys showroddin' this fine Saturday? Actually, it's raining here, but I've had family in town visiting all week and this is my first chance to work on anything, so I'm gonna make the most of it!
Just gonna do some foiling on the shovel on the side of this RR, and then do a little work on the paint to get rid of a few little dust specks and so on before I decal it (if my new bottle of Future arrives sometime soon anyway...)

Anyone building this weekend? I'm getting some bench time in, doing some work on my Rommel's Rod, and watching Donn Yost's how-to videos...guy's a seriously good painter! Worth checking out if you haven't seen his work

Aside from making hot-dog/Hot Dogger jokes all day, I shot some color on some parts for my Li'l Gasser build today - love this Createx pearl blue!
It sometimes lays down a little lumpy, but it always flattens right out and should look KILLER when it's cleared! Hoping to hit it with some Rustoleum high-gloss clear tomorrow when she's out of the apartment.
Anyone else got anything on the bench right now?

Happy Showrod Sunday everyone! Anyone building this weekend?
I'm just finishing up a copy of a Li'l Mixer /Li'l Gasser chassis...I really want to do a Li'l Cashbox sometime, and seeing as they're hard to find I figured I'd scratchbuild as much as I can and keep an eye out for one of Dave Van's laser-cut repro bodies. I've got a Li'l Mixer that I'll be starting on soon, but before I did I took the chance to take some dimensions from the frame and make a replica before it has a load of stuff glued to it

Seeing as we're all on lockdown here in NYC I've been working on this thing...I didnt post a build thread here because it's not really a showrod, but I'm pleased with the paint!
