I'm trying to get back in the saddle. Some of the old guys may remember, I have built a Gridiron Grabber to represent each football team my son has played on. So the weekend workbench has been his Jr. College and Sr. College teams Grabbers. Ive thrown in a Hard Hat Hauler for good measure.

Not the weekend just today's attempts towards a scratchbuilt egg plane! The 'New' egg is at the front............ All very basic but a start.

I've got this off of Ebay a while back. Thought it might be time to try to revive it.
Honest Engine:
I've got everything but the belt/pulleys, the chute, and one small wheel bar peg. I can probably use the belt from an old Roarin' Rail, if I can find it. And a chute from a Snap Draggiin.
The wheels needed to be cut off -- they and the axles were glued to the frame.
I don't plan on much more than a repaint and reassemble.

I'm working on a Lego Land Rover Defender at present so this is the half of the chassis so far! There's no specific scale, but the box top tells us that the finished dimensions are nearly 42 CMS long (16.5inches) and nearly 23 CMS (9inches) high!

41chevy's (Paul) posts of his modded MPC trikes made me finally haul out my Taco Trike and do what I'd been mentally noodling with for a while:
So far, the top wast totally removed, the back of the seat enclosed and a storage lid added, and some pvc to flow the engine cowl back to the frame. The handle bars/fork have been split to allow me to cleanly insert it into the frame support from both sides.

It looks a lot better than the wedge design, Jim! I'm curious about your next steps, kolors?

This is a seven year project that I have been trying sooo hard to bring to completion. It's a replica of Louie Force's unfinished Drag Truck. It's mostly scratch built. Right now, I am making the steering column. And this was once last kick to the head from 2020. On NewYears Eve I was grinding away with my Black and Decker rotary tool when it stopped and the lights at my bench dimmed. Every time I stepped on the speed pedal the lights dimmed but the tool did not turn. Then came to smoke from the transformer. I took it apart to see what burned, but I could not find it. Bought a Dremmel tool for 100 bucks, but my rheostat foot pedal was only functioning as off and on with the Dremmel brand tool. So the Dremmel goes back to Lowes and I bought a used B&D transformer off eBay for 20 bucks. Good riddance 2020.

A bit of work on the AMT Der Beetle Bus.. The exact locations for various parts are sketchy on the instructions.

It looks a lot better than the wedge design, Jim! I'm curious about your next steps, kolors? At the moment, I'm working with a magenta body and grape purple seat and engine block. It's the last of my foursome of the 2005 trike set, so I needed to make it unique.
There will probably be some other minor mods or decals along the way as well.

I'll probably go to Kit Kollectors Prison for breaking out this one:
Couldn't help myself. The box was unsealed. I was going to show some restraint, but changed my mind... the will be done as Wild.
Of note, the supplied drag wheels do not fit within the confines of the fenders, so I've replaced them with a parts box set (those fronts are the back set from a Surfite).
I'll need to repro some decals as well.
Hopefully, I'll be giving Canney something to look forward to!

I'll second that! That stuff is great. Just clean up the old decals as best you can before applying, you don't want to seal in too much dirt! Brian

We always carry nail clippers when we are on holiday. These come in a handy plastic case, and when my wife tried to use them last week the plastic handles broke off. I quickly scooped up the plastic case, took it out into my hobby cabin in the garden. With care I sliced it down the middle lengthways and made> Two roof boxes! For my next project with a roof rack! Just add paint and decals.
