Thank`s John! And it continues to go. Since the rims have now a over-broad, there are no finished tires which I could draw up. I thought, No problem ;D. I could turn which from plastic and color they then black (already few times made, with good result). ;D No, no, no! I want rubbers! Special rims need finally special tires! ;D But, which? Since I was active in former times in the machine industry in the tool construction, I found somewhat suitable. ;D Those are “rubber springs”, which one uses in the punching technics as well as in the tool- and building of devices. It gives different colors and many diameters and lengthen. The idea was good ;D, but the treatment exhibits problems. The color of this rubber spring shows optically their hardens. The black is the softest (approx. 70 shores). Thus one can turn it only in a device with very sharp tools, or work on it with rough sandpaper. I had to use both variants and after much work and sweat , look this now in such a way: Thanks for the interest and take care, Bobby

After the arduous polish, is it finally so far, my wheels are now complete. ;D Well. I am not completely content with the polished surface. It looks somehow blunt beside the chromium-plated surface of the original rim. This has a “cold” and my a “warm” gloss… I hope that it looks good at the model, finally... Thanks for looking.

What about painting the wheel centers "magnesium"? Would take care of the incongruity in the polished and chromed portions and would also add to their visual depth.
