Well kabdriver here's a photo of the kit that Glenn has sent me............... It's $104AU including shipping of $19AU so the kit is $85au. That's £62.08 here in the UK. I've ordered one and paid by Paypal. Glenn said it takes a few days to produce the whole kit, and will advise me when he's ready to send it. kabdriver, I've always used CA or Superglue to put my 1/43 resin kits (Rallycars) together, what do you use, remembering that we don't have as many adhesives in the UK under the same name as yours? I've done various searches, Google etc. and found a host of pictures of the 'T' to base the build on.

Hi kabdriver, I've had a reply already (overnight)! Saying that he can get hold of one for $85 aus plus $19 aus shipping, so I've answered about the cost being a pensioner and what comes in a kit (if it is). So watch this space!

I know it's a very old kit, but has anyone seen any recently. I'm not a collector I'm a builder, no point in having them and not building them.
But remember I'm a pensioner so money is not endless!

Superb build! I was thinking that we could do with small cars like that on our narrow roads here in the UK. But yes when I was at the Volksworld show 2 years ago a chap here had shortened one like this and drove it to the show!

An interesting subject as it doesn't show any 'Woodie' on the box art or in the plans or in the box! So I thought I'd add it! The front wheels were heavily fluted, which weren't very nice at all. Looking through the chrome parts there are a number of extra bits from a standard kit, so I cut the fluted area of the wheels out, replaced that with a piece of plasticard with a hole in the centre to give the correct offset on the axle ends. Using the separate chromed rear halves of the rims, opening out the hole and adding spare domed hubcaps for the smooth look. The paint is Plasti-Kote Metallic Blue.

Thanks hobbybobby, I had already found your thread, and used it as a guide, especially to use as I hadn't painted an 'Eye' before. Yes they are a great group of crazy kits, just my idea of fun!

Cheers guys. I thought of various colour combinations. The gloss black wouldn't dry properly so stripped it off and tried this.

Update..........Well.........because the chassis and everything else is askew, not square, I've had to shave off and bend the floor to fit. Then you have the problem of the tailgate not fitting, but guess what...............it did! A tattoo for the srf dude........and a copper wire earing! A few flames each side........ and the horn and rear light...............and finished the exhaust with some ally tube.............
